In early Spring of 2024, Township Trustees in conjunction with Cemetery staff will be placing notices on graves in violation of Rule #10 of Concord Township Trustees Cemetery Rules. These are graves that are bordered, landscaped, mulched, or planted in the entire grave space. There is a 21 day deadline for the tenders of the graves to remove the products themselves, if deadline is not met, then township personnel will remove and dispose of said items. being in compliance with rule #10 provides less interference during mowing season. 

 

Artificial flowers are allowed as long as they are placed on the stone, within a compliant bordered landscape, and out of the grass to allow no interference during the mowing season

 

Cemetery staff will begin removing any leftover grave blankets from the winter season beginning in March. Any grave blankets removed from Township Cemetery staff will be disposed of. 

 

To qualify for the Concord Township Resident price for graves, the deed holder must be a Concord Township resident, or own real estate in Concord Township.
